The three workshops took key buildings and sites within the Fitzrovia / Bloomsbury area of central London, to test a range of strategies for intensification. The first study was of the Institute of Education by Lasdun; the second of Kings Place by Dixon Jones ; and the third was a proposal for the empty Middlesex Hospital site – a key location in Fitzrovia.
