First Year

My work this year is largely engaged on the assembly of components, which are either modules of geometric shapes, or pieces from existing objects, put together in an unconventional way. I worked with shapes such as pipes or triangles and explored the properties of different materials such as cardboard, steel or clay. In addition, I looked at mechanisms that would enable me both to keep the pieces in place but also make them rotate according to the needs of each project.

Pieces from Buddha's body placed on cantilever beams; rotating inflatables come out and this acts as a space of isolation and meditation.Tables and stands used in London's markets Scaffolding collagesStructure made from the three triangulations of a bicycle
